Funily app for iPhone and iPad

Funily was created with the intention of making it easier for parents to discover family-friendly events, activities, and children-related items for sale in their local area. Our vision is to become a “one-stop shop” for parents who are looking for fun activities to do, with or without their kids, in a variety of environments and settings.

WHAT ARE THE FEATURES AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our app consists of three primary features--“Events and Activities,” “Market Place,” and “Directory.” The “Events and Activities” category lists family-related events that are posted by Funily or vendors who are promoting their own local events. The “Market Place” feature allows parents to buy or sell any child-related item on our platform. The “Directory” is a comprehensive listing of local businesses that would typically fall in any one of our events or activities categories. The purpose of the directory is to provide an additional resource to parents to help them discover new places to go to.

LOCATION

The app works best when it has access to your location. We will ask you for permission to access your location so that we can find events and items for sale near you. You can change your location in the app at any time in case you are planning to visit a different area and would like to see if there are any Funily events/items for sale at that location.

UPDATE LOCATION

You can expand your events or activities search by increasing the radius of your search or changing your location.

SEARCH FEATURE

You can search for events based on keywords such as “festival,” “park district,” “parade,” “splash park,” and so forth. If you prefer searching by date, we have that too! Just click on the calendar and select the date you want to find events/activities for.
